N.P.P to suspend Nana Akomea for defending President Mahama

New Patriotic Party (NPP)
Communications Director, Nana
Akomea says the president giving 'money' to a few people during a campaign tour cannot be described as 'sharing' money.
He said the video shows the President single out some people and handing what was said to be money to them.
Speaking on Joy FM/MultiTV's news analysis program, Newsfile Saturday, he said it could be the President was showing concern to a hawker whose wares might have been scattered as the convoy was passing. In the video President John Mahama
is seen handing over something to traders at Abossey Okai during his campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region.

Some critics say President was buying votes, however, Nana Akomea said this does not qualify as a vote-buying incident although other incidents else where by the president qualify.

“That is something people have not taken notice of presidents don’t carry money around. I never knew until I got to the presidency” he said.

Mahama will poll 44.96% in December polls - Islamic cleric

An Islamic cleric, numerologist and philosopher, Sheikh Ustaz Sham-Una Jibril says President John Dramani Mahama will pull 44.96% in the upcoming elections. That percentage, he said, will result in John Mahama not retaining the presidency after comparing him with former Nigerian President, Goodluck
Jonathan. “President Mahama of NDC has a lot of serious political similarities with Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and the
two parties thus, PDP and the NDC also have things in common, and that is the reason for describing them as Political Siamese twins,” he said in a
statement to Peacefmonline.com.

Read blow the full statement

One may ask the meaning of Siamese twins - from the biological point of view Siamese twins are twins which are conjoined or merged together
thus, every part of their bodies are conjoined unless doctors operate to separate them in short. President Mahama of NDC has a lot of serious political similarities with Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and their respective part parties thus, PDP
and the NDC. They all have things in common, that is the reason for
describing them as Political Siamese twins. The NDC party symbol is an umbrella and Jonathan’s PDP in Nigeria has its
symbol as umbrella as well.
Surprisingly, both parties have the same Colors thus, Red, Black, White and Green.Again, the first democratic elected President of PDP was a Military, Obasanjo ruled for eight years in the
same vain the first democratic elected President of the NDC was a military ruler, Jerry John Rawlings. Moreover Goodluck Jonathan was not endorsed by his master Obasanjo during the time he was lunching his
campaign at Tafa balewa in Lagos when he was seeking for his second term in office in 2015. President Mahama was not also indorsed by his founder Jerry John Rawlings during his campaign lunch in Cape coast
when he was seeking to continue for his second term of office in 2016.

I won't apologise – Nketia to DKM victims

“What offence have I committed to apologise for?” General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has inquired from a
group calling itself ‘Customers of
DKM, Jastor Motors, God is Love,
Etc.,’ which has threatened to sue
him if he fails to substantiate his
allegation that they are being pushed by the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to hold demonstrations against the government by riding on
the crest of wave of the microfinance scam in the Brong Ahafo Region which has purportedly affected about
70,000 people. The group says it is angry with Mr Asiedu Nketia for reading political meanings into its push for justice. Mr Adiedu Nketia, however, told Prince Minkah on Class91.3FM’s Executive Breakfast Show on Monday 19 September that he sees no reason to render an apology as being demanded
by a group, which he claims is being led by people with political motives who are not victims of the scam. Meanwhile, Mr Asiedu Ketia, also known as General Mosquito, has said legislators of the NPP, particularly those who are from the Brong Ahafo
Region, should use their share of the MPs’ Common Fund to reimburse victims of the microfinance scam, if they really cared about the plight of those people as they appear to be
touting.

Nana Addo’s Cancer Claim Is False – Doctor

The New Patriotic Party
flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo has a clean bill of health and has never been diagnosed of cancer or kidney ailment, his personal doctor has clarified. Professor Yaw Adu-Gyamfi contends the Africa Watch magazine’s claims that the former foreign affairs minister is suffering from cancer or kidney problems are malicious
and should be treated with
contempt. He said the three-time
presidential candidate of the
Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition is fit and could not be moving about campaigning if he had the ailments the magazine claims he is suffering from. The August edition of the Africa Watch magazine suggested that a leaked dossier from the Wellington Hospital in UK which Nana Addo is believed to frequent indicates he is unwell with acute ailments. The magazine in its report mentioned that Akufo-Addo was diagnosed of prostate cancer in June 2013,
with a high prostate – specific Antigen (PSA) count of 89.9, very much above the 3.72 upper range it should have been — according to the British doctors.
However, his personal medical
doctor told Joy FM’s News File show Saturday that the claims are false and without merit. He said Nana Addo was examined in June 2016 and there was no trace of cancer.

My unbridled sex video not real - Lord Paper

The 26-year-old musician Michael Takyi Frimpong alias Lord Paper whose music video circulating on social media has generated public debate says the video rated adult only is not real.
The ‘Awurama’ music video shows the musician naked having sex with a lady amidst hot romance. He debunked claims that he indeed had sex in the video, saying the only thing real is the kissing. Youtube officials pulled down the video after it received complaints from their viewers. But speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Entertainment Show hosted by Austin Woode, he explained that the video is
camera tricks and not real sex as
speculated by section of the public. According to him, if he knew the video would generate backlash, he would have censored it before releasing it.

He indicated that his girlfriend who is based outside the country was aware of the making of the video and that the lady in the video Nana Yaa was employed and paid for her services.
‘She is a video victim, I like her looks, I talked to couple of girls who were willing to do but I chose her,’ the rapper explained.
He admitted that he has released over ten songs, but this one has been a hit, saying he was portraying real love making.
‘I agreed with my management to
release the video, I only portrayed
exactly what love making is in the music, the video is rated adult only, it’s a love song, making love with my loved one, I intended to portray exactly that, I didn’t want to hide things, wanted it to look real, but everything in the video is not real, nothing is real, just that we had to make it looked real, we all have different ways of doing things, I didn’t know it will go this far, I don’t know the one who downloaded it from YouTube to twitter and other social media,’ he explained. Asked if he is worried about the public backlash, he explained ‘people have different opinions on issues, in Ghanaian society we don’t really accept these kinds of things, I know
but its art, its music, I wanted to
portray something real’. He said his mother is not happy with
the video but has explained things to her.
